Gould & Patterson admitted there were no trans fossils as evidence of Darwin’s theory. The theory is filled with speculations and art work depicting the speculations. It’s not observed –or observable science. It’s a belief –religiously held –that man evolved from amoeba over millions of years without any design or intelligence behind the process. My bachelors degree is in biology- with much chemistry, too –pre-med –and I have the MD degree and did lab work for Doisey’s –father and son team. The father had the Nobel prize for his discoveries. I also did some study at Argonne national lab. My area of excellence in med school was genetics. No way did I or many of my profs find Darwin’s theory believable –or defensible by evidence. And it surely isn’t observed as an ongoing process today. So it fails the tests of “science.” I also am firmly convinced that Jesus Christ really came, died and healed many and raised people from the dead –and conquered the grave himself. Had He not done so, his frightened, unschooled disciples could not have got Christianity off the ground. It might have “evolved” as a sect promoting love and forgiveness, fighting hypocrisy, etc. –but instead it is ALSO about “Christ crucified, resurrected, and coming again.” And they were willing to be martyred for this teaching. Read Acts 3 and 4 –where John and Peter go into Jerusalem –and heal a man in Christ’s name at the Gate called Beautiful. Read about the anti-Christian Saul –who encounters Christ as light and voice on the Road to Damascus in Syria –still there today –as are Jerusalem and many places cited in the New Testament. Reads like journalism. News of their day. Furthermore, there is an experiential aspect of Christian faith --which believers cannot deny. I understand that some are disillusioned when they are raised in the faith but never experience a sense of His reality or His presence. All I can say to that is, “Seek and find.” “Ask and it will be given unto you.” “Be still and know that I (He) am (is) God.” I pray you might find this “way of gladness –it’s a happiness without alloy!” (from a song I sang recently.)
